Named after the historic Stone Mill Trail located between the town of Harvard and the hamlet of Chemung, Stone Mill Cottage is an intimate bungalow of comfort and respite from the fast pace of city life. Located a quiet drive on the edge of Harvard, IL, it pays homage to Chemung’s local history as a milling village, centralized around the Sinderson Flour Mill, which produced some of the region’s best buckwheat flour in the 19th century.

The Cottage is designed combining sleek modern fixtures with rustic accents to create a stay you won’t soon forget. Stone Mill Cottage is a great place to stay when you’re in town for a couple days or a few weeks on business, for a wedding or are just touring the area.

Now, as the final stop on the Union Pacific Northwest train line, Harvard is known as “the Milk Center of the World” and is celebrated each June as Harvard Milk Days.
